Michele Minasola Physical Therapy, PC is based and offers home services in Visalia, CA as well as the local area. Which means we come to you! 

Concierge Physical Therapy can actually save you money in overall costs!

1. Most likely you have an insurance deductible. 
2. Deductibles have increased some in excess of $5000.
3. An in-network PT clinic can bill insurance $400-$600 per session.
4. That cost is your responsibility until your deductible is met.
5. In-network PT clinics have to see a higher volume of patients due to reducing reimbursement rates and will usually schedule on the half hour to be profitable. 
6. You get 1:1 treatment by a Doctor of Physical Therapy for the entire time.  You are not handed off to an aide.
7. Did we mention that there's no driving time and you don't have to get a babysitter?

Michele Minasola Physical Therapy, PC does not accept or bill insurance.  We are a cash-based practice allowing us more time to directly care for you which often results in fewer treatment sessions, ultimately saving you time and money.   

A superbill can be provided upon request so that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.  We do accept FSA/HSA funds as payment. Reimbursement and FSA/HSA eligibility is not guaranteed. Please call your insurance provider to verify your benefits and their protocol for processing superbills to ensure a smooth billing experience. 

We accept cash, check, and major credit cards using our square card reader. We also accept FSA and HSA cards. 

No, you do not need a referral to see a physical therapist at Michele Minasola Physical Therapy, PC.  However, some insurance companies may require a referral for reimbursement.

Physical Therapists in California can evaluate and treat patients without a referral for 45 days or 12 visits; whichever comes first. To assist in avoiding a lapse in treatment, your physical therapist is happy to direct the evaluation report to any MD, DO, PA, or NP who also provides care for this issue to attain a signature acting as a referral. To assist insurance reimbursement, patients should request a referral from their doctor ahead of time, as this is often a requirement. 

We require 48 hours notice prior to your cancellation.  Our cancellation fee is $75 if you cancel within the 48 hours and the appointment slot is not able to be filled.  If the appointment slot is able to be filled, you will not be charged.  

Mercier Therapy is a deep pelvic organ visceral manipulation technique that can be used as a stand-alone treatment or in preparation for a medically-assisted cycle such as IUI or IVF. A Spring 2013 research study found 83% pregnancy rate with Mercier Therapy and 80% of those people used Mercier as a stand-alone treatment.  A winter 2018 research study found 87% pregnancy rate in people who underwent Mercier Therapy prior to IVF stimulation--83% IVF and 4.7% natural means.  Of the 83%, 50.9% achieved pregnancy with the first IVF cycle.
